One Killed and Several Injured in Car Accidents near Lancaster, Harrisburg & Gettysburg

Harrisburg PA: Silver Spring Township – Two Vehicle Crash Kills One, Injures Two More

Two passenger vehicles and a semi-truck were involved in a car accident Saturday. Just after 9:00 am Saturday morning, an accident was reported on PA Route 11, along Carlisle Pike. The road was closed temporarily near Appalachian Drive in the Silver Spring Township. Initial investigations indicate that the deceased driver was traveling North on Route 11, when they left their lane, struck the rear-ended a semi-truck, and then crossed the center divide & struck another car. The injured were taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

Lancaster PA: Upper Leacock Township – Two Vehicle Crash Sends One Injured Driver to Hospital

Two pickup trucks collided in Upper Leacock Township on Saturday, sending sending at least one injured person to the hospital. The accident happened at the intersection of Stumptown Road and Monterey Road. Initial reports indicate one of the drivers ran a stop sign, causing the crash.

Lancaster PA: Upper Leacock Township – One Vehicle Crash

There were no injuries reported in a single car crash late Friday on Horseshoe Road.

Lancaster County: Clay Township – Military Vehicle Leaves Turnpike, Injuring Two

Early Saturday afternoon, a military went off the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lancaster County. The vehicle went up an embankment, then rolled back down towards the roadway. There were two military members in the vehicle that suffered minor injuries.

Adams County: Littlestown – Bicyclist Killed in Littlestown Crash

Littlestown - near Gettysburg, between York & Chambersburg. A bicyclist was struck by a truck towing a utility trailer on Fishing Game Road. He was taken to York Hospital and later died from his injuries.
