A Canadian judge recently overturned a ruling that fined a mother 200 dollars for simply picking her cell phone up off the floor while at a red light. According the the original ruling the picking up of the phone went against a law stating that one cannot drive while holding or using a wireless communication device. The judge stated that the women was not using the cell phone and simply picked it up.
