A driver was charged for using their cell phone and eating during a car accident on Friday in Mount Holly Springs. The 30-year-old was charged with many trafic violations, which also included driving with a suspended license and speeding. He sustained moderate injuries in the wreck when his 1990 Nissan pickup truck veered off Carlisle Road (Pa. 34) in Dickinson Township and hit a parked vehicle and utility pole, said Pennsylvania State Police. He was rushed to Carlisle Hospital for treatment of head and neck injuries. According to news reports, he was distracted during the accident and police determined he had been eating and using his cell phone while driving.
As a car accident lawyer, I hope that nobody else was harmed in this crash. My thoughts are with those who were harmed. If you or a loved one were hurt in an auto accident, discuss your case with a Carlisle personal injury lawyer who can evaluate your claim, assess your case, help defend your rights, and answer any legal questions you have concerning your case.
