On Tuesday afternoon a driver rolled his 1999 Chevy Blazer into a cornfield just outside of Brookings, SD. The driver, forty six year old Daniel Schoonhoven of Brookings, was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after striking a post, driving into a nearby ditch and then rolling into a cornfield on the north side of 32nd St. Schoonhoven was cited for careless driving and driving without insurance.
