A man from Chambersburg charged in an auto accident fatality plead not-guilty during an arraignment Wednesday. The 21-year-old was charged with homicide by vehicle and aggravated assault. The trial date was not set. The crash resulted in the death of an 18-year-old woman from Shippensburg when he lost control of his vehicle on US 30 and hit her vehicle. Her car veered off the road and slammed into a pole. The victim was in the passenger seat and not wearing a seatbelt. She succumbed to her injuries an hour after the wreck, while the other passenger was brought to York Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, according to news reports.
