A vehicle jumped a curb in northeast Philadelphia, causing a child to be injured and a woman to succumb to fatal injuries. The collision happened just after 2:30pm on Monday near Pennypack Park on Roosevelt Boulevard. The wreck happened when a truck cut off her vehicle. The car swerved to avoid the pickup truck and hit the curb, crashing into the pedestrians. The woman in the crash succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash. The child pedestrian was brought to Sait Christopher’s Hospital for treatment, according to news reports.
