A coalition of traffic safety groups spearheaded by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation is on a mission to stop people from using cell phones or engaging in other risky activities while driving. The four-week crackdown is specifically targeted on motorists who use cell phones while driving. In 2011 over 7,000 motor vehicle accidents in Ontario were attributed to distracted driving, causing 56 fatalities and more than 1,000 injuries. Read the article to learn more.
