Evenflo recently announced a recall of one of their products, a convertible high chair manufactured in China. The seat may become detached, therefore causing the child to fall. This may lead to the risk of injury. There have been 18 reports of high chairs which detached. Eight children were also injured by the unsafe high chair. “Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product,” according to news reports. Customers who own these chairs should get in touch with Evenflo as soon as possible for a replacement tray with installation and use instructions included.
As a personal injury attorney, my thoughts are with those involved in this recall and I hope that nobody is adversely affected by this recalled product. I highly recommend checking to see if you own a product included in this particular recall and reach the company immediately with any questions you may have. If you or someone dear to you was adversely affected by an unsafe product, you may want to discuss your claim with an attorney who can help evaluate your case and help protect your rights. An attorney can answer any questions you may have regarding your claim and guide you through the steps associated with your case. They want the best results possible for your case so they will dedicate the attention your claim deserves and help compensate for any pain and suffering.
