A recall has been issued for Outdoor wall mount lanterns manufactured by Zhongshan De Gao Lighting Co. Ltd and Zhongshan Huayi Lighting Co. Ltd. of China. The internal wiring of these products pose an electrical short circuit risk to consumers. These products were sold at Lowe’s stores between June 2006 and May 2012. Affected consumers should contact Bel Air Lighting for a replacement lantern. The products were sold in “Lowe’s stores and in lighting showrooms nationwide and at Lowes.com from June 2006 through May 2012 for about $48,” according to news reports.

As a personal injury lawyer, my thoughts are with those involved in this recall. I hope that nobody was adversely affected by this unsafe product. I highly advise checking to see if you own this lantern then taking all necessary steps to return it to where it was purchased as soon as possible. If you or someone dear to you was harmed by a recalled product such as this, you may want to get in touch with an attorney who can evaluate your case and help protect and defend your legal rights. An attorney can answer any questions you may have and guide you through the legal processes associated with your claim. When you have an attorney fighting hard to defend your rights, you are more likely to get the results you deserve for your claim. Discuss your case with an attorney who cares for your case today.
