Sunday afternoon, a man from Fayetteville, Pennsylvania was brought to Meritus Medical Center after his motorcycle hit two cars. The 26-year-old was traveling northbound on US 11 when two vehicles stopped to turn left in front of him, and he failed to see them. A Washington County Sheriff’s Office news released confirmed the crash happened north of Maugans Avenue. The motorcyclist tried to avoid the cars by driving around them inside the center-line. Instead, his motorcycle hit a 2010 Kia Forte and the rear of a 2003 Pontiac. He was taken to Meritus for treatment of serious, yet non-life-threatening injuries. According to news reports, he is now in stable condition.
