According to a recent Car Loan 4U survey, drivers in London are eager to see major safety changes in automobiles. Most drivers want to see features such as BAC detectors and mounted cameras to record crashes installed to prevent accidents, and record ones that occur. Other drivers would like to see existing technology improved upon, such as mounting GPS devices higher so that drivers don’t have to look down at the monitor and more voice activated controls so they don’t have to take their hands off the wheel. The one common theme of respondents’ answers was reducing overall driver distraction.
