A fatal car accident on Route 33 in Plainfield Township ended in tragedy for a 22-year-old from Nazareth, said Pennsylvania State Poilce. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the wreck, said police. The crash happened when she lost control of her 2000 Honda Civic and hit a tree after leaving the roadway. She was pulled from her vehicle by a witness who happened to also be a nurse. The nurse attempted to resuscitate her. According to news reports, the victim was weaving between lanes as well as speeding just before the collision.
