Stoll Trailers, Inc.recently announced a recall of about five of their 2011-2012 model stock trailers which are fitted with a Dexter Axle electric/hydraulic brake actuator pump. The pumps may have not undergone proper heat treatment of critical parts which could crack during ongoing use. This problem could lead to the trailer becoming inoperable, further leading to a car collision resulting from failure of the brakes. The company announcing the recall will inform the customers who purchased this vehicle and Dexter Axle dealers will give a free replacement to customers as soon as possible.
