PA Courts Warn Against Email Scam

Per the PACourts.com website, Pennsylvania state courts are warning about an apparent email scam. People are receiving an email message that references an upcoming court date, but is a hoax.

Computer Virus Within

If you see a suspicious looking email that concerns an upcoming court case, be very cautious and do NOT click on any of the links within the email. Clicking on any of the links could begin running an insidious piece of software that could attack the recipient’s computer in the form of a virus.

Recently, an email was reported in York County and another one in Washington County earlier this year. Please use this link to view the News Release by the Administrative Office of the Pennsylvania Courts.
