Please Be Careful Driving In Winter Months – or Anytime

Winter means hazardous road conditions throughout Pennsylvania, as we see plenty of snow and ice. By now, we all know how to be safe when driving on a wintery road; by keeping more distance between you and the vehicle in front of you, and by being judicious with applying the brakes. While we don’t know all the facts yet, the car accident mentioned in this blog post appears to be a result of some impatience on the part of one or more of the drivers involved. We urge you to practice patience and leave early enough to avoid being overly stressed about how long it takes to get there. We also ask you to steer clear of accidents whenever you see them alongside the roadway, it’s the law in Pennsylvania.

After a Car Accident – What Do You Do?

If you were involved in a car accident, you know how it can turn your life upside down in an instant. If you are injured in an accident of any kind, seek medical attention immediately. Your well-being is the most important thing immediately after any traumatic event. Then, you should seek the counsel of an experienced injury lawyer at our firm to get the compensation you deserve for your injuries.

Documentation is Essential

If at all possible, get pictures of the car accident immediately. Try to illustrate the damage to each vehicle, and show that damage from a few angles. Also, try to show any hazardous conditions that may have contributed to the accident, such as an obstructed stop sign, gravel, or oil on the roadway. Keep all medical records and receipts for treatment, as these could help to not only verify your injuries, but quantify them for reimbursement later.
