PA Turnpike Between Harrisburg East, Lancaster/Lebanon to be closed June 28

19 miles of the Pennsylvania turnpike will be closed between Lancaster/Lebanon and Harrisburg East this Sunday, and PennDOT has several detour suggestions for motorists to use, if they are traveling while the turnpike is closed. The closure begins at Exit #247, which the Harrisburg East interchange, and continues to Exit #266, the Lebanon/Lancaster interchange. Crews need to close the road to install bridge beams for the Nissley Road overpass, in Lower Swatara Township, Dauphin County.

Weekend Weather Looks Wet

The Harrisburg weather forecast for Saturday is rain, and a cloudy Sunday. There will undoubtedly be some water on the roads, so please drive carefully. As injury lawyers, we see a lot more car accidents around Lancaster, Lebanon, and York PA during weekends of inclement weather. Typically, the potential clients we talk to who have been injured in a car accident, are already being prodded by an insurance adjuster to sign a settlement offer. Don’t do it.
