The accident involved 25-year-old Travis A. Stauffer, of Bainbridge, who was driving a Ford Focus station wagon. Stauffer had left his home and was driving north on Rt. 441 in the 2400 block of River Road, near King's River Haven Mobile Park and Governor Stable Road when his car, for an unknown reason, swerved across the south lane of travel and slammed into a utility pole on the other side of the road.
