Modifications Finally Offered
Finally, in 2007, Yamaha offered to modify all Rhino ATVs free of charge by adding small doors and handholds. Anyone was allowed to have their Rhino modified, whether they purchased the vehicle new or used. Yamaha also included a warning sticker and updated the owners manual to include the information about the risk of a Rhino rollover. While these actions were commendable, they did nothing for those already seriously injured or killed in a Rhino rollover accident.
