Attorney Bio

Carolyn Anner

When working with my disabled clients, I can’t help but think of the old adage, 'There but by the Grace of God go I.' I feel very strongly that it is my job to help my clients who are less fortunate navigate the complex and time consuming system of disability regulations and laws.

Born in Glen Cove, New York, Carolyn Anner earned her B.S.N from Molloy College in 1984 and her M.B.A. from Adelphi University in 1990. Discovering her passion for the law, she attended Jacob D. Fuchsburg Law Center of Touro College, graduating in 1991 with her J.D. Now, nearly 25 years later, she has earned a reputation as a trusted Pennsylvania personal injury attorney. She primarily handles Social Security disability, workers’ compensation claims, and similar matters.

Attorney Anner is a licensed RN in Pennsylvania and New York, giving her a unique understanding of personal injury claims and the damages victims often suffer. She uses this background to further assist her clients in developing strong and effective cases. Attorney Anner also is a lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and National Business Institute in the area of workers’ compensation law. She is currently an executive board member for the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.

My personal life includes being the proud parent of two children. I have a son at The University of Maryland and a daughter in CHHS. I can often be found at my daughter’s meets and horse shows. I am an active member in my church, St. Catherine Laboure. I am also very proud to serve as President of The Board of The Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.

  • I really had good experience with Carolyn Anner as my attorney. I am so glad I went through Handler, Henning & Rosenberg to fight for SSD. The Paralegal that worked under Carolyn, Seth, was so patient and always had the answers to the questions I was asking. I want to extend my thanks to Carolyn and Seth.
