York County Man Dies After Accident with Semi Truck

A man from Baltimore Pike in East Berlin died as a result of injuries sustained in an accident involving his Honda Civic and a Semi-Truck. The man was driving on PA Route 30 when he struck the rear of a stopped big rig. York County Deputy Coroner Jeffri Goldfellow said that the gentleman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Serious Injuries In Truck Accidents Are Common

Big rigs are, by definition, big. When a passenger vehicle is involved in an accident with a semi truck, serious injuries are not all that rare, especially for the occupants of the passenger vehicle. A car just doesn’t stand a chance against the weight, size, and momentum of a tractor trailer. Unfortunately, as Pennsylvania truck accident injury lawyers, we see too many times where the occupants of a car face serious, sometimes permanent, injuries.
