A single-vehicle accident in Lancaster County last Thursday has claimed the life of a young man from Bainbridge. The wreck occurred in rainy conditions on Thursday morning on Route 441 in Conoy Township in Lancaster County.
The accident involved 25-year-old Travis A. Stauffer, of Bainbridge, who was driving a Ford Focus station wagon. Stauffer had left his home and was driving north on Rt. 441 in the 2400 block of River Road, near King's River Haven Mobile Park and Governor Stable Road when his car, for an unknown reason, swerved across the south lane of travel and slammed into a utility pole on the other side of the road.
