What Is the “Best Law Firms” List?
Each year, U.S. News and Best Lawyers produce a list of the leading law firms in America. This process is done geographically, splitting the nation into 188 metropolitan areas. To even be considered for the list, a firm must have a lawyer on staff who has been included on the most recent Best Lawyers list. Eligible law firms then have surveys sent on their behalf to their peers. The process also involves gathering client’s testimonies. In the end, law firms have been thoroughly vetted to ensure the list is truly compiled of the best of the best.
