The “Best Law Firms” Eligibility & Evaluation Process
To be considered for evaluation as a “Best Law Firm,” a firm must have at least one lawyer who’s been previously named to The Best Lawyers in America© list in that metro area and practice area. Handler, Henning & Rosenberg is eligible because our attorneys have been named to thatlist multiple times. In fact, this year, Attorneys Matthew S. Crosby and David L. Lutz were both selected for Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs.
The “Best Law Firms” evaluation process is designed to give an accurate representation of standout law firms across the country based on their perceived expertise, responsiveness, and results. Clients are surveyed to find out about their experience and if they would refer another client to the firm. Peers are asked if they consider the firm a worthy competitor and if they’d refer a matter. The evaluation also includes an assessment of the firm’s background and other applicable information. Based on the results of the evaluation, each practice is assigned a “Best Law Firms” score. Firms are then ranked by Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 and divided by practice area and geographic location. Tier 1 firms are the highest scoring practices, followed by Tier 2, and then Tier 3.
