I fight insurance companies because they are bullies who will not be fair and reasonable. They take advantage of the injured and those who cannot stand up for themselves. I will do what it takes – be it settlement, lawsuit, or trial – to stand up to the bully and get for my clients what's fair.
As a native of Pennsylvania, Stephen G. Held is proud to be able to represent the rights and best interest of injury victims across the region. He is a passionate advocate for those who have been injured in cases involving premises liability, auto accidents, defective products, nursing home negligence, and workplace accidents. Mr. Held brings more than 20 years of legal experience to each and every case he takes on. When representing clients, he uses his background and insight to craft compelling, effective claims on their behalves.
One of the little-known injuries insurance companies inflict on claimants is injury to their dignity. Getting backed into a corner by the companies who promise to help in a time of need, who promise to have a person's best interests at heart, is harmful. The pressure insurance companies have put on Stephen's clients left them in dire straits financially, emotionally, and medically. One of Stephen's goals when representing accident survivors or grieving families is to hold insurers accountable to the people they bully or neglect.
Aside from his professional affiliations, Stephen is actively involved with the Immune Deficiency Foundation. In his spare time, he enjoys football, weightlifting, hiking, traveling, and listening to music.
