Gerald “Jerry” Kincel focuses his practice on auto insurance litigation as well as medical device and pharmaceutical mass tort litigation. He specializes in cases involving automobile, motorcycle, and tractor-trailer accidents, as well as wrongful death. Jerry is passionate about advocating for individuals injured in auto accidents and is proud to stand up for injury victims throughout Pennsylvania.
Jerry’s advocacy has led to outstanding results, including a seven-figure settlement in 2025. He has been recognized for his success by being named to both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, honors reserved for attorneys who have secured substantial verdicts and settlements on behalf of their clients.
A native of Moosic, Pennsylvania, Jerry earned his undergraduate degree from Alfred University and his J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School. While at Widener, he was a member of the Widener Law Journal and the Trial Advocacy Honor Society. He also earned a certificate from the Business Advising Program at Widener University Commonwealth.
Before joining Handler, Henning & Rosenberg, Jerry practiced complex litigation and municipal law at a prominent Harrisburg law firm, where he represented both municipal and private clients in matters involving utility law, environmental regulation, and zoning and land use. He also previously served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Tina Polachek-Gartley of the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas.
Jerry lives in Cumberland County and enjoys golfing and fishing in his free time. When not in the office, he can often be found in State College attending Penn State football games.
