Hanover Car Accident Kills Motorcycle Rider

Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Minivan

A 64-year-old Westminster MD man was killed in a 2-vehicle car accident near Hanover Pennsylvania. The man was riding a motorcycle when the driver of a Ford Windstar minivan crossed over the median into oncoming traffic. The van was engulfed in flames after the accident, but the driver escaped with minor injuries which were treated at Hanover Hospital.

The driver of the minivan is an illegal alien, driving without a valid driver’s license. He has been arrested and charged with numerous counts including homicide by vehicle. At this time, it is assumed that he also possesses no insurance to cover losses involved in the car accident.

As Pennsylvania injury attorneys serving the Hanover area, our thoughts and prayers go out to the motorcycle rider’s family at this time. Losing a loved one is painful enough, but to have them taken from you unexpectedly, by no fault of their own, is especially difficult to accept.
