Super Lawyers has released its 2026 Pennsylvania selections. Four attorneys at Handler, Henning & Rosenberg are recognized on the Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists, with selections spanning senior counsel and newer attorneys across the firm's plaintiff practice areas.
Selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list:
- David L. Lutz, personal injury—selected 2005 through 2026
- Matthew P. Rosenberg, personal injury—selected 2020 through 2026
Selected to the Pennsylvania Rising Stars list:
- Ashley Beener, personal injury—2026 selection
- Robert J. Spayde, social security disability, personal injury, and military and veterans law—selected 2023 through 2026
Their recognition covers practice areas the firm handles every day: motor vehicle collisions, workplace injuries, premises liability, wrongful death, social security disability, and veterans' benefits claims.
How the Lists Are Compiled
Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are produced through a multi-stage selection process. Attorneys are nominated by their peers, then evaluated through independent research and peer review across 12 indicators of professional achievement. Rising Stars applies the same process to attorneys who are either under 40 or in practice for fewer than 10 years. Selections are made annually and by jurisdiction.
No attorney pays to be considered, and the selections are not a guarantee of future results in any case or claim.
Why It Matters
For the people HHR represents—a worker hurt on a job site, a driver injured by a distracted trucker, a family processing the loss of someone they love, a veteran whose disability claim has been denied—peer recognition is one of many ways to measure the quality of a law firm. While it doesn’t promise an outcome, it does say that our attorneys on this list have been vetted by people who do the same work in the same courts, and who have reasons to know.
Four attorneys at the firm carry these recognitions, spanning senior counsel and newer practitioners. The goals of plaintiff advocacy have not fundamentally changed since our firm was founded in 1922, and the people practicing injury law continue to be evaluated by their peers on the quality of their results and their commitment to the public.
